Η Χαρά Νικολακοπούλου γεννήθηκε στα Καλάβρυτα. Είναι φιλόλογος με οργανική θέση σε σχολείό της Καλαμάτας. Σπούδασε Κλασική Φιλολογία στη Φιλοσοφική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και έχει μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα στις Επιστήμες της Αγωγής με ειδίκευση στη Δημιουργική Γραφή από την Παιδαγωγική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Από την άνοιξη του 2014 συνεργάζεται με το Ινστιτούτο Νεολαίας και Δια Βίου Μάθησης (ΙΝΕΔΙΒΙΜ) διδάσκοντας το μάθημα Δημιουργικής Γραφής στο αντίστοιχο εργαστήρι.
Δικά της έργα, παραμύθια, διηγήματα και νουβέλες έχουν βραβευτεί σε πανελλήνιους διαγωνισμούς και έχουν δημοσιευτεί στο διαδίκτυο και σε συλλογικούς τόμους.
