O Andrew McCallum Crawford γεννήθηκε το 1965. Μεγάλωσε στην πόλη Grangemouth, στην ανατολική κεντρική Σκοτία. Αποφοίτησε από το Edinburgh University το 1987 και συνέχισε για παιδαγωγική επάρκεια στο Jordanhill College στη Γλασκόβη.
Ήταν ο συν-ιδρυτής και συντάκτης του λογοτεχνικού περιοδικού "Junk Junction". Δουλειά του έχει δημοσιευτεί στο "Lines Review", "Athens News", "Ink Sweat and Tears", "McStorytellers", "Weaponizer", "New Linear Perspectives", "Spilling Ink Review", "The Legendary", "Midwest Literary Magazine" και στο "The". Το πρώτο του μυθιστόρημα, "Drive!", εκδόθηκε το 2010.
