English in printing technology graphic design and photography

English in Printing Technology, Graphic Design and Photography has been designed to enhance the reading skills in English for students of these fields of study. It presents some of the basic and general terminology necessary for competent communication in careers related to these three fields. The material has been designed for students with a basic competence in English. An attempt has been made to simplify the language in some of these texts but their academic style is typical of that found in Graphic Arts textbooks. A typical unit includes pre-reading questions related to the subject matter of the text and exercises which cover vocabulary, reading comprehension and some grammatical features. It includes a glossary of essential Graphic Arts technical terms used in the reading passages. The author has also produced a KEY in English and a Grammar Exercise book written in the native language of the learner which can be used to accompany this book.
