Η Μαρία Μπελιβάνη γεννήθηκε και ζεί στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Σπούδασε ιατρική στην Αγγλία και στην Ελλάδα και θέατρο και λογοτεχνία στην Εθνική Σχολή Θεάτρου.
